Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center

We are a U.S Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs funded project that helps build the capacity of State Education Agencies and Lead Agencies in improving programs and services for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. The MPRRC is part of Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE), which is the technical assistance division of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University.

The Assessment System for K-12 Interpreters has now joined the Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center as part of the Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE).  Check out the new ASK-12 Website.

Room reservations can be made by calling the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Hotel at 847-696-1234 or 1-800-233-1234. Mention BIE Special Education Meeting, $205 per night. The hotel is located at 9300 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, Illinois, 60018-1234. The cutoff to make hotel reservations is August 25. So hurry!

September 19 Post-session option. The Residential Education Placement Program (REPP) will be hosting a 4-hour session to provide helpful information to schools when placing a student with the need for 24/7 residential treatment services. REPP has invited representatives from Medicaid and the Indian Health Services. Information on case management will also be provided.
