TRANSITION WHEELS ARE COMING! In March 2007, the MPRRC Region State directors requested that a small group convene to develop a tool for schools addressing transition points throughout a child’s education. This group met in Santa Fe in May 2007 and developed the “Road Map to Success” wheel with domains of activities for LEAs around learning skills, independence skills, recreation, communication, self determination, health and wellness, etc. After several months of review and revision, the wheel has been sent to printing and will be available in April 2008. The first printing of wheels will be available for 90 cents each. Contact Shauna Crane at
