ASC/MSRRC Regional Information Services

Teresa Blythe is the ASC/MSRRC Information Specialist, who primarily provides relevant education-related resources and information to ASC/MSRRC staff, State Education Agency (SEA) staff, and Part C lead agency staff within the MSRRC region. The Information Specialist can provide technical assistance to states to help see how other states address various issues such as compliance with IDEA 2004, OSEP monitoring, large scale assessment, and alternate assessment, just to name a few. By contacting states within the ASC/MSRRC region, a regional perspective can be attained. A national perspective is provided by collaborating with the Regional Resource Center network for information on the states served within their regions, and by contacting projects within the OSEP Technical Assistance and Dissemination (TA&D) network.

In order to effectively serve our clients, the ASC/MSRRC Information Specialist collaborates with ASC/MSRRC professional staff, network Regional Resource Center Information Specialists, information service providers from other projects in the OSEP TA&D Network, including NECTAC, NASDSE, NICHCY, and other topic specific centers. In addition, the Information Specialist maintains a collection of resources which include books addressing both special education and general education issues; selected pertinent journal articles; periodicals and videos; policy or procedural information generated by ASC/MSRRC states; and specific content information produced by various national organizations and TA&D projects.

Our products include publications by ASC/MSRRC staff and consultants on a variety of issues. To view our products, please go to the Publications page to find PDF documents available for downloading.
