About Our Center

Mid-South Regional Resource Center (MSRRC)
The Alliance for Systems Change/Mid-South Regional Resource Center (ASC/MSRRC) is one of six Regional Resource Centers (RRCs) established to assist states in improving early intervention, education and related programs serving children and youth with disabilities and their families. The centers are funded by theU.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, under Part D of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and are coordinated by a Federal Resource Center. MSRRC provides technical assistance to state early intervention lead agencies, departments of education and other related state agencies in Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.

The Mission of the Alliance for Systems Change/Mid-South Regional Resource Center (ASC/MSRRC) is to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, birth through 21 years, and their families, by supporting state agencies in the Mid-South region and their partners. Alliance for Systems Change (ASC)
The mission of the Alliance for Systems Change (ASC) is to collaborate with stakeholders in RRC region 2 and the Department of Defense to provide needs based technical assistance to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities birth through age 21 and their families.


Meet Our Staff


Interdisciplinary Human Development Institute

The Interdisciplinary Human Development Institute, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service, focuses its efforts on improving lifelong opportunities and services for individuals with disabilities, their families and the community. The ASC/MSRRC is a project within IHDI focused on advancing policy and practice for and with individuals with developmental and other disabilities, their families and communities.
