About this Community
This community has been formed to:
o Provide a forum for those who are active in problem solving, resource sharing, and generating new ideas related to inclusive education practices for improved student outcomes.
o To be a source of information on a wide array of research-based best practices.
o Provide support for one another as we translate NCLB and IDEA policy into practice.
o Some great features we offer:
o Online discussions connecting users across the country.
o Guest experts to guide and inform some of our conversations.
o Short- or long-term "practice groups" within this web-based community that focus on particular topics of interest to our members.
o A rich online bank of resources including best and promising practice examples from the field, publications, and website links.
o An active support network of interested people from traditional and non-traditional sources that cut across educational sectors.
o Additional needs-based functions such as teleconference calls, videoconferencing, and meetings at other nationally scheduled events.
o Time efficiency in resource acquisition through a one-stop approach.
