A systematic, data guided approach will be introduced for planning coordinated management of dispute resolution programs and practices (due process, complaints, mediation, and early dispute resolution). Cross state “jobs-alike” groups will work together to examine the current status of practices in their states, examining management processes, resource allocation, outreach and public awareness, professional standards and training, and evaluation of dispute resolution practices. Members of state teams will have an opportunity to explore the use of the process to assess the status of their own systems, and plan for improvement.
