Event: '2nd Annual Secondary Transition State Planning Institute'

NSTTAC will host the 2nd Annual Secondary Transition State Planning Institute at the Hilton University Place in Charlotte, NC May 7-9, 2008. The institute will be co-sponsored by the National Association for State Directors of Special Education's IDEA Partnership, the National Dropout Prevention Center for Students with Disabilities, the National Post-School Outcomes Center and the National Secondary Transition Technical Assistance Center.

State teams will re-visit or develop plans for building state capacity to improve secondary transition education and services. Participants may represent education, vocational rehabilitation, families, youth, and other stakeholders in secondary transition from their state. The institute will be co-sponsored by the National Association for State Directors of Special Education's IDEA Partnership, the National Dropout Prevention Center for Students with Disabilities, the National Post-School Outcomes Center and the National Secondary Transition Technical Assistance Center.

Registration will be free and more details will be available at www.nsttac.org later this fall.
